Location Services

  • You can save time at the counter when you activate Accelerated Check-in online. Just provide your driver's license and contact information that are normally collected at pick-up and we will be ready when you arrive. You'll be on the road and on vacation before you know it!

  • After-hours Pick-up:

    Picking up your vehicle after the location closes is easy with Alamo. After-hours Pick-Up might require you to follow a few additional steps, which you'll see in your confirmation email.

    After-hours Return:

    Returning your vehicle after the location closes is easy with Alamo. We'll tell you where to park it; just drop the keys in the dropbox and you're on your way!

    Skip the rental counter lines and check in directly by using Alamo's touch-screen kiosk. Check-in using the kiosk and a receipt-sized rental agreement is printed. You'll be directed to your hire car on the lot. At the exit booth, show the booth agent your rental agreement and driving licence—and simply drive away.

    No need to visit the counter or kiosk. You can go straight to your car!

    In order to take advantage of this optional free service, you'll need to activate Accelerated Check-In online then choose the "Skip the Counter" option. You will be required to confirm your protection options, agree to the Rental Agreement Terms & Conditions and enter valid credit card details (there will be no charge until you return your vehicle). Simply print your rental agreement to bring with you, and you are all set! Go directly to your car, show the booth agent your rental agreement and driving licence—and get on the road!

Rental Policies

  • A fee of 20 EUR (VAT included) per rental will be added to the Rental Agreement.

  • After hours pickup: for reservation after hours pickup you should contact reservation center at least 24 hours before picking up the vehicle. A fee of 30 EUR (VAT included) will be added to the Rental Agreement. After hours returns: the return of the vehicle shall be done within city branches during working hours whereas the return outside working hours of city branches is possible with additional payment and prior approval. If customer returns the vehicle after working hours within airport branches it is free of charge.

  • Minimum age for groups: Mini, Mini Elite, Economy, Economy Special, Compact, Compact Special, Compact Wagon, Compact SUV, Compact Convertible, Intermediate, Intermediate SUV, Standard, Standard Fullsize, Standard Wagon, Standard Van, Premium, Fullsize Van, Premium SUV, Premium Convertible, Fullsize SUV, Luxury, Luxury Van, Intermediate Elite is 18 yrs except the car group Luxury Elite for which the minimum age is 25 yrs.
    Maximum age for all car groups is 80 yrs. For all drivers aged 18-20 and 70-80 a fee of 40 EUR (VAT included) per rental applies.

  • Cross Border Fee within the EU countries (including Switzerland and United Kingdom) is applicable in amount of 20 EUR (VAT included) . For Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, Serbia, North Macedonia and Kosovo, and every non-EU country (excluding Switzerland and United Kingdom) a Cross Border Fee of 50 EUR (VAT included) applies per rental. In case of travelling through EU and non-EU countries (except Switzerland and United Kingdom) both charges of Cross Border Fee are applicable. The green card covers the rented vehicle with basic insurance (T.P.I.) as long as it remains in the borders of the country for which it is issued. Road assistance or car replacement while driving abroad is available. Exception: The 10 km long transit from Split to Dubrovnik driving through Bosnia and Herzegovina is free of charge.

  • The Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is an optional service and reduces the renter's liability in the event of damage to the vehicle when no responsible third party is identified.
    If CDW is not included in the reservation, it is available for purchase at the rental counter. If CDW is not included in the rental or CDW is declined, the renter will be liable for the total cost of damages to the vehicle or the full value of the vehicle in case of damage.

    If purchased or included in the rental, the excess is:
    1,000 EUR for the vehicle categories Mini and Economy;
    1,200 EUR for the vehicle category Compact;
    1,500–1,800 EUR for Intermediate and Standard vehicles;
    2,000 EUR for all Passenger Vans and all Commercial Vans;
    and 2,500–5,500 EUR for all Premium and Luxury vehicles.
    The excess will be charged every time a vehicle is damaged

    Before purchasing CDW, it is advisable to determine if the renter's personal coverage is adequate to cover damage, theft, loss of revenue, administration fees, diminishment of value, and any towing, storage or impound fees. If CDW is declined, the renter will be required to pay these charges and to seek compensation through their carrier of personal coverage. The Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is not insurance.

  • For delivery or collection of the vehicle, customer should contact the rental agent at least 24h before picking the vehicle. Charge per service is 25 euros.

  • One Way Rentals: One way rentals are available for all car groups between all rental locations within Croatia and selected international branches for an additional drop off fee. Please contact our reservations department at +385 99 7330862 for more information on one-way routes and associated fees.

  • Refueling charges: Level to level. The Customer should return the vehicle with the same amount of fuel as it was at the time of pick-up. If the Customer returns the vehicle with less quantity of fuel he will be charged the amount of missing fuel according to the official rate of Enterprise Rent-a-Car Croatia. In case that vehicle is returned with more fuel than given at the time of pick-up no refund will be made.

  • Accepted methods of payment: credit cards, debit cards and cash. Credit cards accepted: AMEX, DINERS, MASTERCARD and VISA are accepted.
    SECURITY DEPOSIT (SD): for each rental, the driver should present a valid credit card (VISA, MASTERCARD, DINERS OR AMEX) under their name. A deposit is required for all vehicle categories. Cash or debit cards (for example: Maestro Card) are not accepted as a deposit and cannot be used as a guarantee, but can be used as payment. The credit card deposit will be unblocked depending on the credit card provider's terms. Deposit amounts held: Car categories: MINI, ECONOMY: 300.00 EUR
    Car categories: COMPACT, INTERMEDIATE: 500.00 EUR
    Car categories: STANDARD, PREMIUM, FULL SIZE, LUXURY, ELECTRIC, COMMERCIAL VANS: 1000.00 EUR

  • All drivers must present a valid national (domestic) driving license that has been held for a minimum of 12 months along with an identity card or passport. An international driver's license along with the national driving license is required for drivers, whose license is issued in non-Latin characters. Upon the United Kingdom leaving the European Union (EU) the requirements for UK Driving license holders driving in EU member states may change. Please check requirements before travelling.
